Although Xenogears gets a lot of mixed reviews (especially the second disk), I don't think there's any denying it has a great soundtrack. I haven't played the game much yet myself, but this music is some of the best I've heard.
"Awakening" - I know for a fact that is the final boss music. This was one of the first Xenogears songs I ever heard and it totally blew me away. The very definintion of "huge battle for the fate of the world" music.
"Bonds of Sea and Fire" - According to Crawl, this is from the opening cinema. Pretty melody, kind of makes me think of a lovely fall day.
"Flight" - Um, airship music? Really bombastic stuff! If you listen carefully, you can pick up a little bit of "Le Tresor Interdit" from Radical Dreamers in this one.
"My Village is Number One!" - The town music. Reminds me of Irish folkdance music and is enough to put anyone in a happy mood.
"Small Two of Pieces Restored" - The outstanding ending song that made my original Top 50 (and was pretty close to the top). Great lyrics, awesome guitar solo, and celtic flutes.
