...and panics because he hates being touched...
...but she's very persistent...
...and Honen concedes. He seems to realize something isn't right about her.
He may look silly, but a threatened Honen can be a dangerous Honen.

Eh...not too fond of that picture. He's too fat and he looks like Cartman from South Park there.
I had to stare at that for awhile before coming to the conclusion that the thing sticking out of his mouth is, in fact, his tongue. I hope that's cartoon exaggeration, otherwise Onis have really, REALLY long tongues...Hell, it kind of looks like he ejected a grocery receipt from his mouth.
Yup! There's the panel where he finally realizes he held onto the bomb too long. I forgot to write "THE" as "ZE" in the speech balloon.
This is (sort of) what Honen looked like in full-color back then (although I often changed his palette). The modern version replaces the yellow trim with red trim.
